Robert Heinlein sued the producers of "The Brain Eaters" for ripping off his novel, "The Puppet Masters". Guess he couldn't sue the writer, Gordon Urquart, because he died before the film came out.

Leonard Nimoy was in it, wasn't he? And wasn't he also in the serial "Zombies of the Stratosphere"?

Yeah, but the only way to recognize Nimoy in Brain Eaters is by his voice. He was a lot easier to recognize in Zombies of the Stratosphere.
